When I think about boudoir, I generally think about images that hint and imply but keep something in reserve, a soft and subtle intimacy that is as much about what is not shown as what is. Boudoir Gallery 1 contains images that I feel fit this theme, images that might adorn your bedroom wall without too much fear of who might see them.
Or you might be seeking boudoir shots that are a little more risqué, something reserved for a significant other. Despite the shedding of some inhibitions (and some clothing) I still don’t think of this work as ‘glamour shots’. It also doesn’t feel like portraiture to me, usually it’s more about subject as model, than the intimacy and vulnerability that comes with an intimate portrait.
